Job Description

Die Cutter/Aerator Operator – Second shift ($19.50)

HOURS: 3:00pm-1:00am
LOCATION: Bolingbrook, IL

*Must be available to work overtime after shift.
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Die Cutter/Aerator Operator to join our production team. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining die cutting machines and aerator systems to ensure high-quality, accurately cut products. The operator will handle material preparation, machine operation, and quality checks while following all safety and production standards.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Set up and operate die cutting machines to cut paperboard, cardboard, plastic, or other materials to specified shapes and sizes.
  • Operate and monitor aerator systems to separate, feed, or prepare materials for cutting.
  • Inspect finished products for accuracy, quality, and adherence to specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve machine issues such as jams, misfeeds, or improper cuts.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and properly functioning die cutting and aerating equipment.
  • Perform routine machine inspections and report maintenance needs.
  • Ensure all safety protocols are followed, and personal protective equipment (PPE) is used.
  • Record production data, counts, and quality checks as required.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
