Tanker- 2nd shift
Shift hours: 3pm-11pm (Mon-Thurs), 1pm-9pm (Fri)
Overview:
The assembly tanker is responsible for Tank substation and three-phase pad-mounted transformers, making all necessary connections to bushings, switches, etc.
Essential functions:
•Locates and moves tanks, parts, and covers to assembly area.
•Assembles bushings and current transformers to cover or tank as specified.
•Mounts cores and coils in tank and bolts in place. Clamps cover in place and makes all electrical connections to bushings. Mounts tap changer, switches, current transformers, and vacuum fault interrupters.
•Locates and assembles all accessories, such as oil level gauges, thermometer, pressure-vacuum gauge, pressure relief device, etc. to the tank as specified.
•Checks all lead clearances inside unit and assembles needed spacers and or insulating barriers as required.
•Performs resistance testing on small pad-mounted transformers.
•VFI, Load break switches.
