TIG Welder 

Experience Required! 

Bring your experience and dedication as a TIG Welder in Chaska, MN, primarily welding stainless steel pipe. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow with a company that treats you like family. 

 

Job Duties: 

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings. 

  • Grind and cut metal to appropriate sizes.  

  • Sets-up production area to maximize efficiency.  

  • Position parts in fixtures, clamps on work bench, or floor while using supporting stands to secure the part being worked on. 

  • Create jogs when production quantities determine a need.  

  • Follow the company’s welding procedures specification to ensure conformity between all welds.  

  • Safely move gas cylinders and attach them to fabrication equipment.  

  • Set up welders in a way that conforms to the company’s welding procedure specifications and performs diagnostic and basic maintenance to ensure the welding machine is running at optimal performance. 

  • Examine weld for bead size and other specifications. 

  • Repair broken or cracked metal objects, fill holes, and build up metal parts.  

  • Lays out, positions, and tack welds workpieces. 

  • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions. 

  • Prepare joint to be welded by grinding or other processes prior to beginning welding. 

  • Remove and/or repair and discontinuities from the weld before continuing the fabrication process.    

  • Clean or degrease parts.  

  • All other duties will be assigned.  

 

Pay: $22-26/HR 

Shift: 1st; Monday – Friday 

Hours: 7am – 4:30pm
