Advance Services has a NEW career opportunity in Hibbing, MN! We are hiring Steel Prep Personnel to help assemble the necessary material, prints, parts, etc., to complete job orders. This is an exciting position where you can work with various tools and equipment, including press brakes, shears, torches, hydraulic saws, drill presses, MIG welder, forklifts, overhead cranes, and other equipment provided.

Pay: $21.00/HR 
Days: Monday - Friday
Rotating Shift:
  • Work one week on day shift (6am-2pm)
  • Work one week on afternoon shift (2pm-10pm)

Job Duties:
  • Communicate with the weld shop supervisor to establish priorities.
  • Organize prints, all necessary parts, and materials for work orders.
  • Transport needed materials to the proper location within the welding shop. 
  • Ensure proper identification of material and paperwork before and during transportation between departments.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
  • Ability to read blueprints
  • Lift a minimum of 50lbs
  • Read tape measures, operate calipers and other measuring tools
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment written math test, physical, drug, and background test.
