Hours: 6:00am-4:30pm (Monday-Thursday)
Overview:
- The Shipping & Receiving Associate is responsible for all aspects of receiving, warehousing and shipping goods. Safety, organization, and housekeeping are key responsibilities in this role. Employees will follow all Safety Quality Foods (SQF) rules and procedures pertaining to this position.
Job Duties:
- pack, crate, and ship goods
- ensure shipment accuracy against proper paperwork
- create and maintain proper paperwork
- prepare freight quotes prior to shipping
- load and unload incoming and outgoing trucks
- ensure accurate and timely records of receipts and shipments
- distribute and move materials to appropriate plant locations as required
- verify inventory counts and physical inventory as required
- operate forklifts
Job Requirements:
- forklift experience
- understand computer and shipment processing software's
- experienced with ERP Systems
- proficient with Microsoft Office (excel, work, outlook, PowerPoint)
- must be able to read and write in English
- must be able to use common hand tools
- must be able to stand, bend, reach, push, climb, walk
- must be able to lift 50lbs
- able to stand for 4 hours
- able to sit for 2 hours
