Job Description

Shipping/Receiving - Steel Manufacturing 

Advance Services Inc. is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Associate to join its team at its northwest Houston steel manufacturing facility. Previous experience in shipping and receiving in a steel, pipe or heavy industry production environment is desired.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The shipping and receiving associate will be working the office area 50% of the time completing documentation regarding shipped goods and received goods. This position requires email communication and attention to detail. The remaining 50 % of the time, the associate will assist in production by utilizing the forklift to unload and load material in shipping and receiving as well as use the overhead crane (remote) to move material in production. Desire 1 year or more of overhead crane and forklift experience moving heavy material like steel pipe or coils. 

First Shift
Pay $18.00-$20.00
Monday - Friday work week and Saturdays as required 

Requirements

Computer Skills
Email and Phone Communication 
Forklift Experience
Overhead Crane Experience
Ability to work up to 10 hours a shift in a production environment which requires standing, stooping, bending, pushing and pulling 
Steel Toe Shoes 
Bilingual in spanish and english is Desired but not Required
