Job Description

Material Handler

Urgently Hiring!

Hours: 7:00am-4:00pm

Overview:
- This position is based within the distribution center environment, supporting the receiving and shipping teams with product put-aways and frequent forklift operation

Job Duties:
- Operate a forklift and other powered equipment to move product throughout the warehouse, and stack/pull from various locations
- Breakdown pallets/sort packages to be received
- Move inventory to designated areas using the RF scanner.
- Ensure inventory is labeled properly and place in the correct location.
- Light kitting and assembly work as needed.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.

Job Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous forklift experience with both stand-up and sit-down models.
- Previous material handling experience.
- Experience in loading and unloading trucks.
- The ability to lift to 50 lbs. repetitively.
- Knowledge and effective use of a computer: data entry, Outlook, Word, Excel.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision.
- Attention to detail in all aspects of job performance.
- Commitment to performing quality work.
- Experience using an RF Scanner.
