Job Duties:
- Follow the guidelines of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), uniform and dress code, and product safety requirements.
- Operate seasoning equipment per specifications.
- Maintain seasoning and salt hoppers to proper fill levels and adjust application during production.
- Maintain seasoning and salt within specifications.
- Maintain flour and run flour equipment.
- Proper documentation.
- Report any deviation associated with the above parameters to appropriate Team Leader and Quality Team personnel.
- Dispose of all scrap at the end of respective shift.
- Work in other areas as workload demands.
- Perform daily and weekly cleanup and sanitation, including the proper handling of cleaning equipment and cleaning chemicals, with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
- One to three months related experience
- Ability to read and write English.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memo
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry our detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
- Stand for periods of time; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or touch objects, tools, or controls; climb ladders; reach above shoulders; and talk and listen
- Climb, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and use foot/feet to operate machine
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 65 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
