We're Hiring!
We are looking for an Irrigation Technician  in Watsonville, CA. 
This position will support the Technical Grower in performing numerous tasks related to growing substrate crops (Irrigation management, lysimeter tracking, fertilizer mixing, material ordering, monitoring overall plant health, etc.)

Pay Range: $18-$20.50
Schedule: Sunday - Thursday or Tuesday - Saturday

· Walk test plots regularly to scout for crop issues and coordinate with the Technical Grower and Supervisors to implement pest control, irrigation and plant nutrition.

· Make daily irrigation adjustments based on lysimeter data and with guidance of Technical Grower.

· Monitor and assist in checking overall plant health.

· Check irrigation lines and plants multiple times a day to ensure proper irrigation.

· Monitor and maintain lysimeter stations. Log data and email on a daily basis.

· Ensure injection system and computer are in working order.

· Monitor fertilizer and acid tanks levels.

· Accurately mix fertilizers and maintain nutrient inventory.

· Routinely clean filters for irrigation systems.

· Schedule and coordinate the maintenance of ranch as needed.

· Assist the Technical Grower with oversight and execution during special project design, installation, and daily/weekly management of such projects.

· Performs other duties as assigned, related to agricultural operations.
