Welder/Poly-Fabricator - Hiring Now!
Advance Services is now hiring welders in Janesville, IA!
Location: Janesville, IA
Shift: Monday - Thursday, 6am-4:30pm
Pay: $20-22/hr (Depending on Experience)
Requirements:
- Create quality welds according to blueprints and standards
- Inspect welds for accuracy
- Prepare product to be welded by grinding, drilling, cutting, etc.
- Responsible for properly packing, identifying and moving of all finished products to the proper location
- Ensure all equipment is properly set-up and used in a safe manner and that all safety devices are used
- Identification of non-conformities and how to fix them
- Perform maintenance as required
- Basic reading skills. Must be able to follow directions
- Basic computer navigation and utilization skills
- Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
- Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem and to think in such a way as to produce a new concept or idea
- High attention to detail and self-motivation skills
- Regularly lift 30-50 pounds
- Regularly perform repetitive tasks
- Regularly possess manual dexterity to put parts or pieces together quickly and accurately
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
