Digital Accessibility Manager

Advance Services Inc. has openings with a community college. This position relates to two new pieces of legislation, HB21-1110 and the Department of Justice Regulation implementing Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act.

This position will be responsible for leading efforts to ensure compliance with both laws. This two-year temporary position will play a key role in bringing the institution into compliance with digital and instructional accessibility requirements, ensuring that all content, platforms, and materials are accessible to individuals with disabilities, and creating a framework and processes to ensure ongoing adherence to accessibility requirements.

Job Duties
 
  • Ensure all content, platforms, and materials meet accessibility standards
  • Develop and deliver training for faculty and staff
  • Assist in the creation of institutional policies that support long-term accessibility
  • Establish systems for continuous compliance monitoring, including conducting audits and reporting
  • Manage accessibility projects
  • Lead the comprehensive remediation efforts to ensure compliance with accessibility standards
