Job Duties:
- Operate or use various hand, power, and air tools including grinders (portable & bench), wrenches, hammer, cutting torches, drills, punches, and a tape measure. Also operate or use forklifts, and overhead hoists and cranes with associated rigging equipment.
- Use a computer mouse to access and open/close computer documents.
- Operate paint sprayer or other equipment to apply industrial paint on metals or products. (Use air-assisted airless spraying and electrostatic powder coat paint systems)
- Monitor work to ensure desired results.
- Ensure that all materials are labeled accurately.
- Clean, shot blast, and prepare equipment surface for painting.
- Inspect all products to ensure that the end results follow guidelines.

- Accomplish all daily painting production requirements and complete assigned paint tasks in an efficient manner.
- Ensure painting assignments are properly completed as it relates to quality assurance (proper material and equipment usage). Must be able to use paint spray and shot blast equipment in various positions as well as manual painting products
- Ensure safe work practices are followed and adhered to
- Check production schedule or shop request list and plan work tasks
- Apply primer and finish coats with attention to safety, quality, and efficiency
- Mix and match paint
- Clean and maintain spray guns, shot blasters, and other painting equipment
- May work with unpleasant or toxic fumes and materials wearing protective and safety equipment
- Painter spends a substantial portion of the work time spray painting.

Wage: $20.50 possibly more based on experience.
