We are currently seeking a motivated Buyer to support purchasing, scheduling, expediting, and inventory control operations. This is a critical role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and wants to make a direct impact on operational success.
What You’ll Do

Evaluate and select suppliers, develop relationships, and monitor performance to ensure quality, cost, and timely delivery.

Review and process purchase requisitions while ensuring policy and procedure compliance.

Solicit and compare vendor quotes for both new and existing products.

Resolve discrepancies across Purchasing, Accounts Payable, and Receivable.

Minimize product lead time and inventory costs while improving supply chain efficiency.

Collaborate with multiple departments to understand operational needs and align sourcing accordingly.

Innovate or improve procurement processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Perform additional duties as required.
Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience as a buyer or in procurement within a manufacturing environment.

Familiarity with blueprints and engineering change processes.

Working knowledge of manufacturing information systems (MRP/ERP systems).

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

High integrity, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.

Willingness to travel occasionally.
Schedule & Hours

Core hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Flexible start time available (up to 1 hour earlier)

40 hours per week required, onsite

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

Regular exposure to a manufacturing environment with moving mechanical parts.

Moderate noise levels typical of an industrial setting.

Must be able to stand, walk, and occasionally lift/move up to 25 lbs.

Requires visual acuity for close and distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.
