Job Description

Bartender Associate

Pay: $12.00/hr.
Shift: 1st-2nd
Location: Iowa City

You will be performing a variety of tasks involving food and beverage services for Catering including setup, service, and clean-up of bars and concession areas. This will be a job to keep you busy over the summer and has a flexible schedule.

Job Duties:

Responsible for set-up, service, and clean-up of bar and set-up of cash drawer.
Accept payment for beverage items, registers and deposits funds in cash register.
Accepts charges in accordance with established procedures.
Reconcile charge slips according to established procedure.

Qualifications:

Must be 18 years of age or older.
· Must be able to move up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
· Must be able to work evenings, early mornings, and weekends and be flexible in scheduling from week to week.
· Strong communication (written and verbal) skills and be positive and respectful in working with a diverse population.
· Demonstrated commitment to GREAT customer service.
