Accounts Receivable Clerk
$20/hour
Advance Services, Inc. is hiring a highly motivated Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team at a Jonesboro area company! Must have High School Diploma or equivalent, 1-3 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related financial role. Come be a part of a leading team and enjoy great work hours!
Responsibilities
• Efficiently manage the complete Accounts Receivable cycle
• Generate and dispatch invoices accurately and promptly
• Upload invoices into 3rd party customer invoicing systems (Ariba, Payee Central, etc.) as necessary.
• Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payments and proactively follow up on
overdue invoices.
• Accurately post and allocate payments to customer accounts
• Prepare and maintain precise accounts receivable aging reports
• Publish monthly receivable data including KPls, metrics, and analysis of fluxes
• Handle customer inquiries regarding billing and payment discrepancies in a professional and timely manner
• Collaborate closely with the sales and customer service teams to address customer billing issues and disputes effectively
• Assist in month-end closing procedures related to accounts receivable
• Contribute to special projects and initiatives as required
• Record and apply the correct use taxes applicable on invoices for remittance for accurate use tax return.
• Assist with preparing and submitting sales tax reporting to multiple states
• Participate in weekly invoicing meetings
• Perform other duties as assigned
