Job Duties:

Repair and maintain all onsite machinery in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer’s specifications.

Use hand tools, power tools, fabrication skills, and precision when testing and repairing machinery.

Removes defective parts by dismantling devices: using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examining the form and texture of parts.

Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts using rulers, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.

Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques: monitoring compliance.

Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Promotes, adheres to, and is responsible for food safety and quality.
Minimum Qualifications & Skills:

Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school:
-
OR six months to one-year related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills:
-
Identify preventative maintenance problems or anomalies and identify appropriate solutions.

Communicate and coordinate effectively with employees verbally and in writing.
- Communicate and coordinate effectively with vendors and customers verbally and in writing.
- Bi-lingual skills are not required but preferred.
