Crate Builder

Assembler - Wood

Shift and Hours: 1st Shift - Ocassional overtime may be optional or required

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday. Ocassional weekends may be optional or required

As a Crate Builder – you’ll use your strong teamwork skills, you will safely and efficiently build wood crates using blueprints (cut sheets) and power tools to meet customer specifications for quality and on-time delivery. You will log in and out of jobs in the Ops Center (Production software planning system) to track jobs and follow production schedules. You’ll also follow safety and personal protective equipment requirements

What You’ll Be Doing

Build Various Sized Wooden Crates

· i.e., nail and staple guns, power drills, grinders, and hammers

· Use tape measure to ensure the measurements match the cut sheet up to 1/8th inch

· Safe ladder use required when assembling the tops (caps) of crates

· May need to assemble bases or skids for crates on the ground. This requires use of a 20 pound, 3.5-inch nail gun while crouching and/or kneeling
